  • Preparing for your treatment can help you be more comfortable and have a better experience. Here are some general guidelines:

    • Eat Lightly: A light snack a few hours before can help prevent dizziness or lightheadedness during the treatment.

    • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your appointment.

    • Wear Comfortable Clothing: Loose, comfortable clothing makes it easier for the acupuncturist to reach the necessary points.

    • Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: It's a good idea to limit the consumption of caffeine and alcohol on the day of your acupuncture treatment, as these substances can affect your body's response to the therapy.

    • Arrive Early: Arriving a bit early allows you to relax and fill out any necessary paperwork. It also gives you a moment to center yourself before the session begins.

And remember, if you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to ask!

  • The frequency of sessions depends on your individual health needs and goals!

For acute issues like recent injuries or severe pain, weekly or semi-weekly sessions are often recommended. Chronic conditions may start with weekly sessions, then shift to bi-weekly or monthly as symptoms improve. Some people also use monthly acupuncture for general wellness.

  • We know that life happens and schedules can change, but in fairness to our practitioners and patients, we have established the following Cancellation and Lateness Policy. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are running late, communicating with us as soon as possible gives us the best chance of accommodating you. You can contact us by phone, text, or email.

Should you arrive later than your appointment time you may have a shortened service. If you arrive 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, your appointment is considered canceled by late/missed appointment/no-show

Early cancellations are those that occur more than 24 hours before your appointment time. There is no charge for early cancellations.

Any appointment cancelled with less than 24-hours notice is considered a late cancellation and charged the full amount.

As a courtesy, appointments can be rescheduled, without charge, for any available appointment during that same calendar day.

  • Currently, Aeris Acupuncture is accepting all major credit cards. For in-person transactions, we kindly request exact cash payments. Our team is unable to provide change.

We do not process insurance at this time. However, we are able to provide patients with a superbill. A superbill is a detailed invoice of the services you've received. This document is necessary for reimbursement when a provider is out of network. We are happy to provide any information to you to facilitate this process.
